LASIK
LASIK is a highly proven, rapid-recovery laser vision correction procedure for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
If you are tired of relying on glasses or contact lenses, LASIK is one of the most established options available.
What is it?
Femto-LASIK is a two-step laser vision correction procedure that I may use to treat myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
Where does it work?
How does it work?
The procedure is performed as a day case using numbing drops. It takes approximately 15 minutes for both eyes.
Who may consider it?
I will perform detailed scans to measure your corneal thickness and shape, ensuring the cornea can safely accommodate the creation of the flap and the laser reshaping. LASIK may be an option for patients who need correction for long-sightedness, or for some patients whose astigmatism makes LASIK more suitable than SMILE Pro. LASIK may not be suitable for patients with thin corneas, severe dry eye, keratoconus, or those engaged in combat sports.
Who may not be suitable?
